Impressive room, exceptionally comfortable bed, polite staff.

Hotel was pleasant and I liked the food there, it was appetising. The staff were pleasant and polite yet not intrusive. The location was stunning and tranquil in the lovely area. The restaurant was pleasant for dinner and for every budget. The service was GREAT during my stay. The whole experience was comfortable.

Great food, but needs a refresh

We spent 2 nights here and loved the food and breakfast. The restaurant had some really good dishes, but the bar and decor felt kinda old and tired. Room was okay, but pretty noisy at times. Staff were friendly and helped with anything we needed. The place could use a makeover to match the food quality.

The location offers easy access to the coast, with scenic views readily available. The grounds feature charming landscaping, perfect for taking leisurely strolls or letting dogs roam around safely.

The bathroom setup lacks practicality, with minimal shelving space leading to clutter. Technical issues plagued the TV, with erratic channel changes and difficulty controlling it. Shower pressure was lackluster, akin to a garden hose on a drought, markedly disappointing after expecting a more relaxing experience in a historic setting. The shower control was faulty, which could lead to frustration during use.

This place suits me perfectly, offering free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a cozy bar area. The staff was so helpful with my heavy luggage during my first stay. I highly recommend enjoying the lovely restaurant. I'll definitely return for another trip.

The kids loved the spacious family room with a cozy corner with an armchair perfect for reading. The hotel is set in beautiful, tranquil grounds ideal for family walks, and the breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

The room (number 4) had a limited view, and the creaky floorboards, while safe, contributed to a sense of the building's age. Despite these minor concerns, the comfort and character of this place ensure I would consider returning.

I had a lovely breakfast that was freshly cooked to order, just as I like it. Nothing beats a proper breakfast to start your day off right! The staff are friendly and helpful.

It wasn't exactly economical, but for the peace and relaxation, it was acceptable.

Stepping into this historic manor house reminded me of diving into a fairytale! I loved the Giant Yorkshire pudding filled with roast beef at breakfast. It was an absolute treat! Exploring the fine gardens and cozy lounges with warm fires.
